Supporting Research Through Nina's Fund

                Nina Patterson (8/26/1959-7/24/2004)

with her beloved Sambo

Nina's Sambo

as a "tripod"

Nina (pronounced Nine-a) Patterson was devoted to her cat Sambo, who died in 2001 as a result of a vaccine related sarcoma.  Sambo's VAS was in her right rear leg and as a part of her treatment, her leg was amputated, making her what we affectionately call a "tripod".

Nina suffered a ruptured cerebral aneursym and she went to join Sambo "across the Rainbow Bridge" on July 24, 2004.

Nina expressed a desire to assist VAS Awareness in it's mission - a desire that was left unfulfilled as her life was cut short.

To honor Nina, and her beloved cat Sambo, VAS Awareness has created Nina's fund as a way to achieve our goal of supporting veterinary research concerning vaccines and vaccine/injection related sarcomas.

100% of the donations designated to this fund will be reserved to support this research.

To make a tax-deductible donation to this fund, please designate your donation by:
